I’m a bilingual licensed clinical psychologist offering online mental health services to women in Florida. I specialize in online Psychological Evaluations and Therapy for Women in English and Spanish.
As an integrative and person-centered clinician, I strive to create a safe and collaborative space where women feel seen, understood, and supported in their healing journey. My approach emphasizes resilience, balance, and practical strategies that honor each woman’s unique story.
Are you questioning whether I am the right fit for you?
It’s natural to wonder if a clinician’s approach is right for you. Maybe you’ve tried psychotherapy before and felt something was missing, or perhaps this is your first time reaching out. My role is to walk alongside you with compassion, structure, and evidence-based strategies that honor your story. I work with women navigating anxiety, ADHD, autism, depression, life transitions, and trauma, and I believe psychotherapy should feel supportive, collaborative, and practical for your daily life.
You don’t have to face this journey by yourself!
Many women carry invisible burdens — balancing health concerns, family, personal growth, and relationships all at once. It can feel isolating, but you are not alone. Together, we’ll create a safe space where you can process your struggles, explore your strengths, and begin moving toward balance and clarity. Whether through psychotherapy or structured evaluations, you’ll have a guide and partner every step of the way.
What can you expect during our first session together?
Our first meeting is about connection. We’ll talk about what brought you here, your goals, and what feels most important for you right now. I’ll also share how I work so you feel comfortable and supported moving forward. For evaluations, I’ll walk you through the process step by step — answering your questions, gathering your story, and making sure you feel at ease. From there, we’ll build a plan that’s both structured and flexible, tailored to your needs.
What are my greatest strengths as a mental health provider?
Patients often describe me as warm, encouraging, and steady. I listen deeply, honor your lived experiences, and integrate evidence-based psychotherapies with mindfulness and compassion. My bilingual background allows me to connect with women in both English and Spanish, while my training in health psychology, psychological evaluations, and trauma helps me provide clarity and effective strategies. I value open collaboration, communication, and trust so you always feel supported and understood.
Do you wonder what was my path to becoming a mental health provider?
My journey began in Puerto Rico, shaped by a lively family and the discipline of dance. Those early lessons in resilience and connection carried me through college in Syracuse, my doctorate in Ponce, and my postdoctoral training in Florida. Along the way, I lived through experiences like the 2020 earthquakes in Puerto Rico, which deepened my understanding of trauma and recovery. Through all of these moments, I discovered that my greatest fulfillment comes from walking alongside others in their healing journey — helping women find strength, resilience, and hope.
Today, I bring together years of study, clinical practice, and lived experience to offer care that is both evidence-based and deeply human.

I’m a bilingual licensed mental health counselor providing EMDR and online Therapy for Women in Florida, including individual, couples, and group sessions, in both English and Spanish.
Are you questioning whether I am the right fit for you?
You may be feeling stuck, disconnected, or weighed down by the past. Perhaps anxiety, self-doubt, or unresolved trauma are affecting your relationships and sense of self. Maybe you’re trying to rebuild trust, navigate a major life transition, or make sense of patterns that keep holding you back. It can feel exhausting to carry these struggles alone, and it’s natural to wonder where to turn for support.
You don’t have to face this journey by yourself!
Psychotherapy with me is a collaborative and compassionate process. My goal is to help you find clarity, reconnect with your inner strength, and create a life that feels authentic and balanced. Whether you’re working through past wounds, relationship difficulties, or seeking personal growth, I will guide and support you every step of the way.
What can you expect during our first session together?
Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and determine whether we’re the right fit. We’ll talk about what brings you to psychotherapy, your goals, and the challenges you’re facing. I’ll ensure the process feels supportive from the beginning, and together we’ll explore the therapeutic approaches that best fit your needs — whether that’s structured, evidence-based methods or a more integrative, flexible style.
For couples therapy, I help partners improve communication, understand their dynamics, and strengthen emotional connection. In trauma-focused psychotherapy, I guide you through safely processing past experiences so they no longer dominate your present. No matter the approach, my priority is to provide a space where you feel safe, validated, and empowered.
What are my greatest strengths as a mental health provider?
Patients often describe me as warm, empathetic, and nonjudgmental. I strive to create a space where you can show up as your authentic self. My advanced training in trauma, relationships, and personal growth allows me to walk with patients through difficult moments while helping them uncover resilience and hope.
As a bilingual provider, I understand the impact of culture, migration, and generational patterns on identity and mental health. I weave this awareness into my work, ensuring psychotherapy is culturally sensitive and honors your lived experience. My passion for women’s mental health and trauma recovery drives me to help patients find strength in their stories and move forward with confidence.
Do you wonder what was my path to becoming a mental health provider?
My journey began in Cuba, where from an early age I was drawn to understanding emotions and people’s inner worlds. After immigrating to the United States, I experienced firsthand the challenges of resilience and adaptation, which deepened my passion for helping others.
At just 12 years old, I knew I wanted to pursue psychology. This calling led me to earn my degrees in psychology and clinical mental health counseling. During my training, I was particularly inspired by trauma and relationship work, and I witnessed how psychotherapy can transform pain into healing and growth.
Joining Avatar Cognitive and Behavioral Center, LLC has been a natural step in my path. Here, I have the privilege of working alongside a strong team of women while staying true to my mission of empowering others to heal, grow, and embrace their inner strength.

I am the Founder, Clinical Director, and Manager of Avatar Cognitive and Behavioral Center, LLC, where I also serve as a licensed clinical psychologist dedicated to empowering women in Florida.
I specialize in Clinical Health Psychology, Neurodivergent-Affirming Therapy, Neuropsychological and Psychological Evaluations, and Therapy for Women.
As an integrative and person-centered clinician, I strive to create a culturally sensitive and holistic experience that helps women move toward self-actualization. My work emphasizes whole-person wellness, resilience, and balance to support women in leading fulfilling lives.
Are you questioning whether I am the right fit for you?
Are you feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, disconnected, or inadequate? Perhaps you’re struggling with your health, battling symptoms that feel unmanageable, or finding it difficult to thrive in a world not designed for neurodivergent individuals. You may be dealing with distractibility, memory difficulties, sensory sensitivities, anxiety, or self-doubt — and you may be looking for clarity and direction.
You don’t have to face your difficulties alone!
I find tremendous fulfillment in helping women, especially neurodivergent women and those living with chronic illnesses, bloom in psychotherapy. Through online care, I guide women in reconnecting with themselves, building authentic relationships, developing emotional intelligence, processing unresolved trauma, creating balance, and living authentically. My goal is to help you honor your story, appreciate your unique strengths, and feel empowered in your daily life.
I am passionate about neuropsychological and psychological evaluations because they are powerful tools for insight. Evaluations provide a deeper understanding of cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and personality patterns. They identify both strengths and vulnerabilities, clarify diagnoses, and guide personalized treatment planning. This data-driven approach ensures care that is not only accurate but also tailored to each woman’s lived experience.
What can you expect during our first session together?
Our first session is a chance to see if we’re a good match. I want to understand your story — where you’ve been, what you’ve learned, and how life has shaped you. Together, we’ll explore your goals and decide whether a structured evidence-based approach or a more integrative style feels right. My overall approach is holistic, growth-oriented, and collaborative.
Treatment length depends on your needs and progress, and we will end therapy once your goals are achieved. However, I remain available for booster sessions or future goals whenever you need support.
For evaluations, I take time to explain the process and ensure you feel comfortable. I gather information thoughtfully, use validated tools with cultural sensitivity, and provide clear feedback with recommendations that give you confidence moving forward.
What are my greatest strengths as a mental health provider?
My strengths lie in genuine respect for my patients’ stories, my ability to create safe and trusting relationships, and my commitment to cultural sensitivity. I bring strong training in testing and assessment, bilingual proficiency, and a passion for continuous learning. My patients often describe me as warm, curious, and supportive — qualities that help foster lasting change.
Do you wonder what was my path to becoming a mental health provider?
I once dreamed of becoming a lawyer and began my studies in Criminal Justice, but I quickly found myself captivated by forensic psychology and personality profiling. This passion led me to pursue a doctoral degree in psychology, where I discovered a deep interest in brain development and neuropsychology.
During my clinical psychology training at Albizu University in Miami, FL, and my internship at AllCare Medical Centers/Centerstone Consortium in Lakewood Ranch, FL, I developed a strong interest in the mind-body connection. I later completed my postdoctoral education in health psychology at Lee Health/Florida State University in Fort Myers, FL, where I focused on how biological, psychological, and social factors influence health and illness.
This journey has shaped me into a clinical health psychologist — and ultimately inspired me to establish Avatar CBC as a space where women can access high-quality, compassionate, and affirming care.
